at last

Got to check out some clubs as well as random hole in the walls and danced to soul. Interestingly enough soul has a huge history here in Chicago starting in the 60's. Was able to meet a man who is running an exhibit on Chicago soul, his exhibit was at the Museum of African American history and he is hoping to find a home for it so he can have a permanent place for the show. Chicago is home to many record companies and radio stations - like for instance Chess Records which has one of my favourite vocalists Etta James.
